Sharad Malhotra set to shine in Ratri Ke Yatri Season 2
Hungama Play, a leading OTT platform, is all set to launch season 2 of its most popular and promising series Ratri Ke Yatri. This anthology is packed with five unique, thought-provoking stories set in the backdrop of red-light areas. Headlined by a star cast such as Rashami Desai, Sharad Malhotra, Shakti Arora, Monalisa, Shefali Jariwala, Adaa Khan, Bhavin Bhanushali, Abigail Pande, Priyal Gor, Mohit Abrol, Meera Deosthale, and Aakash Dabadhe. Directed by Anil V Kumar, the show is produced by Anil V Kumar Productions in association with Hungama Digital Media.
Ratri Ke Yatri takes on some taboo subjects and creates a space for conversations around them to start. Each character in the series has a story to narrate around that one night in a red-light area that changed the course of their lives. Sharad Malhotra’s character Manoj in the anthology is seen having to overcome a particular superstitious belief before walking the path of a happily-ever-after with the love of his life.
Talking about the role and how superstitious he is in his real life, the Naagin 5 fame actor says, “While I have my own share of beliefs in superstitions, I am not too keen to focus on them and let it be the driver of my life. I do consider things as lucky for me. But when it comes to love, I am a hopeless romantic and don’t dwell on these superstitious ideas. I would walk the extra mile only if my loved one held such a belief and it would help put all her inhibitions to rest.”
